Soleya Jewellery: For "the one who shines"

Soleya Jewellery is a Copenhagen-based fine jewellery brand founded by goldsmith and designer Ziva Azoulay, whose Moroccan Jewish father and Danish mother gave her a deep appreciation for the meeting point of two very different craft and cultural traditions.
Every piece is handcrafted in Ziva's Copenhagen workshop, which is located in The Jewellery Room space on Bredgade 35. She uses solid gold and silver, set with handpicked precious stones. The brand was co-founded alongside David Rozsa, who guides the commercial and strategic direction of the business. The name Soleya means "the one who shines" - a reference to the brand's belief that jewellery exists to reflect the unique light of the individual who wears it.

Soleya works in solid gold and silver, set with handpicked precious stones, handcrafted in the brand's Copenhagen workshop. The aesthetic draws from the  two distinct visual traditions of her ancestry - the clean lines and restrained elegance of Scandinavian design, and the rich textures and intricate detail of Middle Eastern artistry  holding them in a dialogue rather than blending them into something neutral.

Organic textures and fluid forms give each piece a sense of movement, while the finishing is precise and refined. The Horizon Necklace is Ziva's personal must-have - a piece she describes as a symbol of hope and resilience, with fluid shapes and organic textures that embody the brand's cultural fusion in a single design. New collections arrive twice a year, alongside a dedicated bespoke service for clients who want a piece built around their own story.

Ziva Azoulay grew up between two worlds,  her father's Moroccan Jewish heritage and her mother's Danish background, and that duality shaped both her design sensibility and her conviction that jewellery should carry cultural meaning as well as aesthetic beauty. She trained as a goldsmith and founded Soleya in Copenhagen, building a brand around the specific creative tension between the two traditions she grew up with.

Every piece is made in her Copenhagen workshop, where she works with precious metals and stones sourced from reputable ethical suppliers, and where bespoke commissions are treated as a dialogue between maker and client, a collaborative effort to capture someone's essence in precious materials. Co-founder David Rozsa brings the commercial and strategic balance that allows Ziva's artistic vision to reach the market.

Jewellery is more than just a decorative accessory, it is a personal expression of art, designed to capture and reflect the unique light of every individual who wears it.

Ziva, who we're lucky enough to have in-house at our Bredgade showroom, works gold and stone in a way that's entirely her own. Her pieces are curved, organic, finished with diamonds and curled gold — genuinely beautiful, in a style that belongs to no one but her. You can see them in person at our Bredgade showroom.
