Nilufer Fine Jewellery: When gold is non-negotiable

Nilüfer Fine Jewellery is a London-based fine jewellery brand founded by Nilüfer Kizilkaya, an Istanbul native who grew up in Amsterdam, studied Economics before following her passion into design and gemology, and trained at both the University of the Arts and the Gemological Institute of America.
The brand was formerly known as GFG, standing for "Gifts from the Goods", a name that captures what Nilüfer wants women to feel when they wear her pieces: blessed with something rare and beautiful. The brand has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Town & Country, and Vanity Fair.

Nilüfer Fine Jewellery works in precious metals, gold is non-negotiable, with recycled gold used wherever possible, set with fair trade and responsibly sourced gemstones and natural diamonds. The aesthetic is elegant and classical with a distinctly colourful edge: rich combinations of gemstones that bring vibrancy to refined forms. The design philosophy is built around everyday luxury - "Whole day, every day" is Nilüfer's starting point for every new design, ensuring each piece transitions effortlessly from morning to evening.

Nilüfer Kizilkaya's passion for jewellery began in childhood, sparked by her mother's jewellery collection and deepened during visits to Istanbul's Grand Bazaar — a place where the beauty and abundance of stones and craftsmanship made a lasting impression. After studying Economics in Amsterdam, she pursued formal training in design and gemology, combining a multicultural upbringing across Istanbul and Amsterdam with a London base that gave her both creative freedom and access to the global jewellery market. That blend of cultural influences, the richness of the Grand Bazaar, the clean design sensibility of the Netherlands, the international perspective of London, shapes every collection she creates. For Nilüfer, jewellery has roots in the earth and in nature, which is precisely why responsible sourcing is non-negotiable.

Jewellery is not meant to be stashed away and forgotten in a jewellery box or safe somewhere - it's meant to be worn.

We've worked with Nilufer for years, and if we're honest, it was the human chemistry that brought us together first. Nilufer came to us in Copenhagen so we could see and understand the jewellery ourselves — she's taught us more about gemstone grading and rubies than almost anyone else, and it shows: she hand-picks every stone herself, and only the finest make the cut. Fine, beautiful pieces, mixing high-quality coloured gemstones with diamonds, and it's exactly why they're so sought-after.
