Méri Charitonidi came to jewellery through cinema and ancient history — two disciplines that trained her eye for narrative and gave her an understanding of how objects carry meaning across time.
She does not, ever, create jewellery for the sake of beauty, or fashion, or style - each piece is the essence of a story, a tiny sculpture telling a story with the imagery, the wording, and the art direction all conceived as part of the same holistic creative process. She casts organic forms by hand, applies digital micro-sculpting, combines techniques that are not expected to blend, and only stops when she is genuinely happy with the result. Customers consistently describe what they find: collections that differ from one another, yet all share an unmistakable common identity.
