The brand story

Elena is a fourth-generation jeweller from Beirut, who grew up with a jeweller father and quickly took an interest in the craft. After studying graphic design at undergraduate level and completing an MA in luxury brand management, she felt ready to build something of her own. During the Covid-19 lockdown, she and her brother Alex identified a gap in their local market for accessible luxury fine jewellery and launched Alexa to fill it. The fact that they own their own manufacturing factory in Beirut means the brand can move with a creative freedom unique for a small independent jewellery brand.

Alexa Fine Jewelry is a Beirut-based fine jewellery brand co-founded by siblings Elena and Alex, launched during the Covid-19 lockdown in response to a gap in the local market for accessible fine jewellery. A fourth-generation jewellery family, Elena and Alex own and operate their own manufacturing factory in Beirut — giving the brand an unusually direct relationship between design and production. Every piece is crafted in 18k gold, with new designs arriving every month.

Alexa Fine Jewelry’s signature aesthetic is dainty and elegant - and heavily influenced by its’ Middle Eastern heritage, visible for example in the Evil Eye Studs, Elena’s personal favourite. Her background in graphic design is visible in the clarity of each design: clean lines, considered proportions, and a lightness of touch that makes the pieces feel effortless rather than precious. The emphasis on handcraft is strong, as well as bringing cultural symbolism into contemporary fine jewellery with a naturalness that feels entirely unforced.
