Gemologists Louise de Rothschild and Keagan Ramsamy founded MAZARIN Paris after working for the same French auction house and discovered a shared desire to create, rather than simply preserve.
The brand was named from Cardinal Mazarin, who in the 17th century assembled an extraordinary collection of diamonds from the legendary Golconda mines - a heritage the brand carries forward through an approach to jewelry rooted equally in gemological precision and art historical depth.
Every piece is handcrafted mere steps from Place Vendôme in Paris, in recycled 18k gold with Kimberley Process certified natural diamonds and carefully selected stones.

MAZARIN works exclusively in recycled 18k gold, sourced from carefully assessed pieces and transformed into 24-carat pure gold ingots, set with natural diamonds and stones chosen for their brilliance and unique qualities, each cut with absolute precision.

The aesthetic is organic and sculptural, drawn from the forms of the natural world: fluid lines, sensual curves, and subtle balances that give each piece the quality of a second skin. Keagan sketches every creation by hand before it passes to among the most gifted gold sculptors of their generation, who give metal the natural flow of organic forms.

Setting techniques include masse-set, en bec d'aigle, claw-set, and pavé, chosen individually for each design. The signature Eboris rings - modern lines, exceptional stone selection, and a touch of historic inspiration - are the clearest expression of the Maison's vision. MAZARIN donates ten percent of sales from the Lucky Elephant collection and each Memory Charm Bracelet to the Big Life Foundation, which works with local communities to preserve 160,000 hectares of wilderness in East Africa.

Louise de Rothschild and Keagan Ramsamy met in the world of jewelry auctions - curating and conducting sales, appraising exceptional gems, and building a friendship rooted in a shared passion for stones and history. The decision to found MAZARIN grew from a desire to create rather than only preserve.

Louise brings an entrepreneurial vision and a gemologist's love of stones; Keagan brings creative talent drawn from nature as a primary source. Between East and West, their backgrounds and sensibilities enrich one another in constant dialogue. The elephant became the Maison's emblem - a marvel of the wild, a force of nature with majestic curves and graceful movements - embodying the balance between power and fragility that runs through every MAZARIN creation.
