Founder and CEO Beatrice Maria Bongiasca fell in love with 3D design during her University years. Jewelry was the pathway that spoke to her—like a mini sculpture for the body. From then on, there was no looking back, it became her medium to express creativity.
As a millennial, Bea wanted to create jewels that were accessible to people her age without them having to spend a crazy amount of money to have them. In fact, in recent years the concept of ‘demi-fine jewelry’ has become very popular because the jewels are still made with fine jewelry techniques in gold (9K), with precious (diamonds) or semi-precious stones without being unattainable.
In 2013, Bea graduated with honours in Jewelry Design BA at Central Saint Martins in London. It was that same year that she founded her own brand and studio in Milan.

The brand is unique and it has its own style. It isn’t an imitation of anyone else, it is true to its form and aesthetic. The focus is on jewelry as an art form, a concept that is pivotal to Bea’s design process. Each piece – at once playful and intricate – functions as a miniature fantasy world for the wearers to immerse themselves in and evade reality, even if just for a minute!
Bea has a true fascination for Eastern culture and travelling. She loves the aesthetic perfection that you can find in the small things in the oriental cultures. There is a harmonic balance in everything that speaks of curation and care that gives her great joy. This influence of colour and balance has been incorporated into some of this visual language in her work, blended in with her Western vision of pop culture, contemporary art and design, and love for everything colourful.

Bea Bongiasca believes that her demi-fine jewelry will never be like ‘fast’ fashion because people take much more care of it and keep it to pass on to their families.
