The brand story

Louise founded The Earring Shop in Copenhagen in 2017, bringing with her a background in fashion from prestigious houses including Christian Louboutin, with experience across both London and Copenhagen. That trained eye, always looking for unexpected connections between beautiful materials and playful forms, shapes every design she creates.

The brand was built around a conviction that earrings are the most expressive piece of jewelry a person can wear, and that the best way to honour that is to give customers the freedom to mix, match, and create their own combinations. Selling every earring as a single is not a marketing idea, it is the founding philosophy of the brand.

The Earring Shop is a Copenhagen-based fine jewelry brand founded in 2017 by designer Louise. Built around a genuine love of earrings as the most personal form of self-expression, the brand has a specific and deliberate concept: every earring is sold individually, not in pairs, inviting customers to create their own combinations.
The collections are known for their playful approach to pearls - combining them with crystals, golden inlays, and contrasting elements to bring a fresh, modern character to a material with centuries of history behind it.

The Earring Shop works with pearls as its central material, setting them alongside crystals, golden inlays, and other contrasting elements to create a result that feels simultaneously romantic and contemporary. Where other brands connect a pearl to a simple metal thread, The Earring Shop treats the pearl as the starting point for a more complex and playful composition.

The aesthetic is feminine and sophisticated with a youthful energy, Scandinavian in its restraint, but never conservative. Every earring is designed to be worn as a single piece, which means each design must stand alone as well as it works in combination with others from the collection.
