The brand story

LOEV was founded in Switzerland in 2022 by Niels Schaefer and Taryn Steinberger, driven by a shared passion to revolutionise the fine jewelry industry from the inside. LOEV is a jewelry brand founded in 2022 by Niels Schaefer and Taryn Steinberger, a brand built from the conviction that bold, contemporary jewelry and uncompromising ethical practice are not in tension but inseparable. Every piece is set with lab-grown diamonds and precious gems grown using renewable energy, in recycled precious metals. LOEV is a certified B-Corporation, part of the global movement using business as a force for good, and holds commitments across governance, environment, community, and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

LOEV works exclusively in recycled precious metals set with lab-grown diamonds and precious gems created using renewable energy, a material choice that is as considered as the design itself. Lab-grown diamonds are physically, chemically, and optically identical to mined diamonds, possessing the same hardness, sparkle, and fire, and should be purchased with the same care and attention to quality.

The aesthetic is bold and contemporary, blending art and technology in a way that sets the brand apart from conventional fine jewelry. The creative approach is deliberately forward-looking: not a replication of traditional forms but a genuine rethinking of what luxury fine jewelry can look and feel like.
