The Founders of Mazarin

A Duo United by Gems and History

Mazarin was born from the shared vision of Louise and Keagan, two gemologists whose passion for both history and gemstones shaped their journey into jewelry design. The pair first crossed paths in the world of jewelry auctions, where they curated and conducted remarkable sales together. It was during these years that they realised their true calling wasn’t just to preserve beauty but to create it.

As they explain, “We felt a strong desire to create rather than only preserve.” From this desire, Mazarin emerged a Maison dedicated to crafting contemporary fine jewelry infused with heritage, artistry, and precision.

A Unique Approach

Where Gemology Meets History

The secret of Mazarin lies in the founders’ dual expertise as both gemologists and jewelry historians. This rare combination gives their creations a distinctive depth, ensuring each jewel embodies not only technical perfection but also cultural resonance.

Unlike most jewelry houses, we approach creation through the lens of both gemology and art history,” they note.

This approach allows them to craft pieces that are strikingly modern while firmly rooted in timeless tradition. Each jewel is not simply adornment, but a narrative—an heirloom for today and tomorrow.

The Design DNA

Timeless Heritage, Bold Modernity

Mazarin’s design philosophy is a refined balance between past and present. Their jewelry draws inspiration from classical forms, yet reinterprets them with clean, contemporary lines. The result is understated elegance—pieces that are wearable, versatile, and profoundly meaningful.

The signature Eboris rings and Eboris link rings embody this philosophy perfectly, showcasing exquisite stone selection, geometric precision, and subtle historical references. Every design reflects their belief that jewelry should transcend trends, offering a sense of legacy and continuity.

"Clients often tell us that wearing Mazarin feels like carrying a piece of history reimagined for today." - Louise and Keagan

Craftsmanship and Responsibility

Sustainability as a Core Value

For Louise and Keagan, creating jewelry is about more than aesthetics—it is about responsibility. Each piece is crafted locally in France by skilled artisans, keeping production artisanal and small-scale to minimise waste and support traditional craftsmanship.

They are committed to sourcing gemstones and materials responsibly, ensuring that ethical standards remain central to the brand. As they put it, “Sustainability, for us, also means creating pieces that endure beyond trends—jewels made to be cherished for generations.” This philosophy reflects not only their respect for nature and history but also their vision of jewelry as timeless cultural artefacts.
