Akva Jewelry designs uncompromising jewelry, considerate of our planet. The young label was founded in 2018 by three friends and named Akva, as it is synonymous with “water.” The label is founded with inspiration from the UN Global Goal #14th - to sustainably preserve life below water.

Despite its young age Akva Jewelry has set the bar high when it comes to working sustainably. The ocean and its eternal beauty is an enormous source of inspiration for the three women Cecilie, Olivia and Tascha, behind the brand. All pieces are handcrafted from recycled silver and gold. The diamonds are ethically sourced and the designs are of the highest quality. All jewelry collections are sustainably handcrafted in Akva Jewelry’s Copenhagen studio.
The essence of the brand is inspired by the UN Global Goal 14th, to sustainably and responsibly manage and protect all marine life around the world.
Sustainability runs through every area of Akva Jewelry, from the design process, to supply, packaging is to deliver uncompromising aesthetics, considerate of both our planet and its people. Together they want to minimise their social and environmental impact, while designing beautiful everlasting jewelry.
The design DNA
Abstract interpretations of the ocean
Sculptural and abstract shapes that will awaken your curiosity are the fundamental aesthetics of Akva Jewelry. The designs are curvy, fluid and sculptural. You will never find a rigid or minimalistic design in the AKVA jewelry collections, as this is too far from the fundamental design DNA. Akva Jewelry wishes for the wearer to sense the ocean through their jewelry.
The Akva Jewelry pieces are all interpretations of the many stages of the ocean - wild, in a constant movement, self-confident, brave, deep, meditative and calming; stages that we as humans also go through.
The aim is to bring the wearer the feeling of wearing a piece of incomparable nature to remember what it has given us: vitality, calmness and strength.
