Goodbye Carrie Bradshaw - Here are her most iconic jewelry looks

In bidding farewell, we look back on the best jewelry from And Just Like That and Sex and The City

It's official: Carrie Bradshaw will not be coming back for another season of And Just Like That - and so, the time has come to say good bye.

From the first moment she sashayed down the streets of Manhattan, few characters have left as important a legacy when it comes to fashion, style - and jewelry.

In a bid farewell, we look back on the most iconic jewelry worn by Carrie Bradshaw throughout the years that we have known and loved her.

The Carrie Necklace

By far the most distinct piece of jewelry worn throughout the six seasons Sex and The City, the Carrie Necklace was as important to Carrie herself as it was inspiring to the audience - it represented her love, her independance, an important chapter of our lives.

"I can't have lost my Carrie necklace, it costs like nothing but it's priceless!" she says towards the end of the final season, as she briefly looses the necklace in Paris - perfectly encapsulating the meaning our favourite pieces of jewelry often holds to us.

The Red Pendant Necklace

Carrie's red heart pendant necklace is another of her most iconic pieces of jewelry.

It was designed by New York-based jewelry designer Kenneth Jay Lane - and it has been on our moodboard ever since it first appeared on our screens.

The Spiky Heart Necklace

In more recent days, during season one of And Just Like That, Carrie often wore a this Spiked Heart Pendant Necklace, which is designed by Marlo Laz.

This romantic, yet edgy, piece became an instant Carrie-classic.

The Pearl Necklace

Carrie was often seen sporting strings of pearls, though in true Carrie manner, they were rarely ever worn alone - in her usual manner, more was more!

The Golden Hoops

While earrings and rings usually took the backseat in her jewelry warderobe to give space to the statement necklaces, Carrie got her chunky golden hoops out on more than occasion.

Samantha Jones

But what about the other girls, the characters who may not have been Vogue columnists and obsessed with Manolo Blahnik's, but who still gave us provided some very moodboard-worthy looks over the years?

Samantha, for a start, always favoured statement pieces, often earrings - usually gold, and the bigger the better!

Miranda Hobbes

Miranda kept her jewelry style simple, clean and professional, and would usually wear no more than a discreet pair a stud earring - although, she did from time to time decide to let loose and get the statement necklaces out!

Now, 27 years after the first episode of Sex and The City first premiered, it seems it's finally time to say goodbye to Carrie and her friends - but the jewelry inspiration they provided us over the years?

We know that will last us a lifetime.
