Viktorija Kančinian grew up inside one of Lithuania's most significant jewellery businesses — but it took becoming a wife, then a mother, then navigating a pandemic, to find the courage to build something that was truly hers. As CEO and marketing manager of her family's company, she discovered after a decade that the part of the work she loved most was the creation itself. "I discovered myself the happiest and lost in time when developing the products," she says. She left the family business to found Formés in 2020 — channelling her rich manufacturing heritage through her own perspective, on her own terms. The first independent collection took two years to create.
