VRAI was founded on the belief that the future is the most precious luxury,  and that creating beautiful jewellery should not require compromising it. The brand's zero-emission foundry in America grows diamonds using river energy, crystallising greenhouse gas in a process that prevents it from re-entering the atmosphere and warming the planet.

Each diamond is then cut and polished in-house by fourth-generation cutters before being set in recycled gold or platinum. This fully integrated model - unusual in an industry built on complex and often opaque supply chains - gives VRAI a level of transparency that cannot be replicated by brands that rely on external sourcing. Lab-grown diamonds, VRAI is clear to note, are atomically identical to mined diamonds: the only difference is origin, and mined diamonds are no rarer than lab-grown ones.
