Gamme Blanche: Translating childhood memory into wearable sculpture

Gamme Blanche is based in Paris, founded by Marine Penet, designed in France and crafted in collaboration with artisans in Jaipur. Marine came to jewellery from the fashion world — years spent working with texture, silhouette, and the emotional charge of clothing — before realising she wanted to make something more intimate. Something that stays on the body and follows someone through the moments of their life. Her entry into jewellery was entirely self-taught, guided by instinct and experimentation rather than formal training, and that approach still defines her creative process today.

Il montaggio iniziale

The moment we saw Gamme Blanche's pieces, it was obvious. Sculptural yet elegant, almost like poetry, with a secret opening hidden in the POUDRE ring.

Gamme Blanche pieces are crafted in silver and gold — Marine has moved away from vermeil entirely, choosing to work only in materials that hold their beauty over time and can be worn in every situation without compromise. Production is small-scale and handcrafted, with responsibly sourced stones and metals, and close, transparent relationships with the artisans she works with. New designs arrive not according to a fixed calendar but in response to travel, encounters, and seasons of inspiration.

The design language is specific: asymmetry, soft curves, octagonal shapes, and a recurring fascination with the hidden. Many pieces contain secret mechanisms or unexpected details — symbols, as Marine sees them, of the interior life we rarely show. Her personal standout pieces are the POUDRE ring, an asymmetrical octagonal design set with two stones that conceals a secret opening, and the pendant LE PARFUM, inspired by her mother's bottle of Chanel N°5. Both capture what Gamme Blanche is at its core: jewellery that holds a story the wearer knows is there, whether or not anyone else does.

Marine Penet grew up fascinated by her mother's world — the perfumes, the makeup, the vanity table, the small rituals of femininity she observed in silence as a child. Those memories never left her, and they became the emotional raw material of Gamme Blanche. "My work sits between fine jewellery and artistic expression," she explains. "Each piece begins with a feeling, a memory, a moment of introspection." She built the brand from the fashion world, teaching herself jewellery design by feeling her way through materials and working closely with trusted artisans in Jaipur. Production is small-scale and intentionally so — new designs arrive in response to travel, encounters, and seasons of inspiration rather than any fixed calendar.

I want my clients to feel empowered, sensual, independent, and slightly out of the frame when they wear Gamme Blanche.
Marine PenetFounder & Designer

The moment we saw Gamme Blanche's pieces, it was obvious — sculptural, yet elegant, almost like poetry: sensual, introspective, deeply personal. The brand is born from a fascination with femininity in all its forms, drawn from small, everyday rituals and gestures. The designer herself put it best: her jewellery isn't showy, it's intimate, almost secretive. Signature pieces like the POUDRE ring, hiding a secret opening, and the LE PARFUM pendant, inspired by her mother's perfume, capture exactly that — feminine, mysterious, deeply symbolic.

The decision to work exclusively in solid silver and gold, moving away from vermeil entirely, reflects a commitment to pieces that maintain their quality and beauty over a lifetime of wear.
