HRIAM: The brand that came to life on its own

°'HRIAM is a fine jewellery brand founded by Méri Charitonidi - a jewellery artist with a background in cinema and the history of ancient civilisations, whose life is shared between Copenhagen and Athens. Jewellery making began as a hobby before gradually, almost inevitably, occupying more and more of her time - Meri describes that the brand came to life nearly without her even realising it.
Every piece is made to order in 18k recycled gold, with a limited artwork collection in recycled silver, and released only when it feels complete — no fixed calendar, no seasonal pressure, no compromise.

Méri met us in Copenhagen, and her organic, Mediterranean-meets-Scandinavian jewellery was nothing like anything we already had.

°'HRIAM works in 18k recycled gold and recycled silver, combining hand-sculpted and cast organic forms with digital micro-sculpting, techniques not expected to blend, pushed together by a maker who is always seeking a new challenge. Narrative is the driving force behind all of the designs, as well as the tension between Copenhagen and Athens, Scandinavian simplicity and Mediterranean aestethics - Méri’s two worlds.

Packaging is made from sustainable Alcantara fabric, handmade to order by a small female-led family business.

Méri Charitonidi came to jewellery through cinema and ancient history — two disciplines that trained her eye for narrative and gave her an understanding of how objects carry meaning across time.

She does not, ever, create jewellery for the sake of beauty, or fashion, or style - each piece is the essence of a story, a tiny sculpture telling a story with the imagery, the wording, and the art direction all conceived as part of the same holistic creative process. She casts organic forms by hand, applies digital micro-sculpting, combines techniques that are not expected to blend, and only stops when she is genuinely happy with the result. Customers consistently describe what they find: collections that differ from one another, yet all share an unmistakable common identity.

There is always a new challenge I sought after to test my skills and limits and I only stop when I am happy with the result. No matter what it takes, I patiently focus on an excellent - at least to me - piece and not just a pretty jewel.

It felt genuinely special when Méri met us in Copenhagen. Her creativity, and her organic jewellery, was nothing like anything we already had. Founded in Copenhagen by the Greek jeweller Méri Charitonidi, °'HRIAM carries a real sense of ancestral Mediterranean craftsmanship alongside quiet Scandinavian harmony — always a little different from everyone else, beautifully its own thing.

All °'HRIAM 18k gold collections are made to order using recycled metals only — a practice that eliminates overproduction entirely. The EXTRAVAGANZA artwork collection is limited to 50 unique pieces in recycled silver. Gemstones are ethically sourced throughout, and packaging is made from sustainable Alcantara fabric, handmade to order by a small female-led family business. "Super slow and super cautious with materials," Méri says — and there are hardly any scraps to show for it.
