What's the story

Josina Bergsøe’s eponymous label is one of the fresh new brands on the Danish jewellery landscape. A tribute to beauty and life, it represents Josina’s triumph over adversity, as the idea of designing her own brand of jewellery was born when she was battling breast cancer. She believes her jewellery is the result of her new lease of life. It is the crystallisation of her “tribute to life, to love, to friendship, and not the least, to beauty". Josina Bergsøe’s designs are inspired by what she sees and experiences, and her Galaxy Collection is no exception. The collection seems to be influenced by the interstellar expanse, for the pieces have elements that resemble heavenly bodies in orbit. An exquisite piece from this collection is the Galaxy Ring crafted in 18 karat yellow gold. The “planets” in the ring are set with diamonds having a total weight of 0.08 carat. The diamonds are set in a mix of bezel and micro pavé patterns.

What's great about it

A fun necklace that is bound to resonate with the inner child within each of us, it comes in the classic gold and white combination and is crafted in 18 karat yellow gold with the eyes of the Boo Charm set with two sparkling diamonds weighing 0.04 carats. The Rolo Chain has a total length of 42cm and sits elegantly around the neck. The chain of the necklace is complete with the ‘Josina’ signature stamp and a lobster clasp.

How to wear it

The asymmetrically placed diamonds in the left and right earrings will give you a distinct look if worn as a single earring. There is also an element of surprise as the hoop can double as a pendant, or it can be worn around your neck on a neck chain.
