Shiri Rosenzweig received her diamond graduation certificate in 1991 and quickly found her world expanding beyond diamonds into pearls, gemstones, and a fascination with colour and combination that has never left her. In 1994, she opened the first Carré store in Copenhagen - a space that has always been as much about curiosity and discovery as it is about jewellery. Over the years, the brand has developed a creative partnership with artist Marie Rud Rosenzweig, whose playful visual universe has shaped Carré's identity in a meaningful way: through collages that adorn the brand's jewellery boxes and gift bags, hand-painted stripes in the Copenhagen store, and most recently a limited sculpture commissioned in 30 numbered and individually decorated editions. The greeting that guides the brand daily comes from the East: Namaste — "the light in me sees the light in you" — a reminder of where so much of Carré's inspiration, colour, and values are rooted.
