What's the story

Established in 2013, Copenhagen-based designer Pernille Lauridsen’s eponymous brand creates exquisite pieces of jewellery for the confident modern woman. Pernille finds inspiration in food and the geometrical patterns of Greek villas; she loves to experiment with precious metals and gemstones and is particularly known for the multifarious use of pearls in her creations. The Taura Choker necklace is Pernille Lauridsen’s refreshing take on a traditional pattern. Like all her pieces, this necklace is crafted in gold-plated silver. The design consists of five chains and a white keshi freshwater baroque pearl; the necklace can be fastened using a spring ring clasp. The name Taura means “many lakes/rivers'' in Japanese. This Taura Choker is designed to resemble five rivers originating from a point and flowing parallel to each other till they find confluence at the endpoint. The freshwater pearl in the pendant supports this imaginative theme.
